Onyx Obituary (2006

Onyx was one of the friendliest cats you could ever meet. He loved being around people and was so patient with little kids. He was known to sit on the neighbors' front porches and back patios just waiting for someone to come out and give him attention. One time he even snuck into the neighbor's van and helped take their kids to school! He was very good at hunting--mice, birds, lizards, and snakes--and was kind to always share his spoils (whether we wanted them or not!) He loved to snuggle and would make himself comfortable on any warm lap. When he was about 12 years old, he got a white whisker and it was just the cutest thing; he looked so proud when we would talk about it! Thank you Onyx for showing us so much love and trust. We love you!
