Miley Obituary (2022)

To my Miley. Her eyes as blue as the ocean or the sky on a cloudless day. Kisses as loving as the warmest embrace, I've never felt fur so soft. My darling sun goddess. Thank you for loving me, for being my light in this dark cruel world. She loved coconut during summertime and swiping a few McDonalds french fries from my grasp when I wasn't paying attention, her favorite treat. When the sun hit just right, she would lay outside underneath its rays right beside me. Always beside me, for hours. Her favorite thing was to be pampered, adored with endless brushing and loving. Through all my depression, traumas, anxiety, all the breakups, she was there to pick up the pieces of my tattered heart. A favorite, (albeit disgusting memory) is after I went through a breakup and woke up during the middle of the night to find out she had pooped on my chest and was just watching my reaction. I was extremely upset when it happened, but it makes me laugh thinking back on it now. I have never known such love from another being, and I miss feeling your kisses on my forehead as you slept on my pillow right above me every night. I miss your sweet voice and constant purring. Your happy face. My darling, I have never met a soul so sweet and pure and I'm so thankful you came into this world. You left so suddenly, it will always leave a painful hole in my heart. Dane says he heard chimes moments before you left this world in my arms. I love you forever. Until we meet again.
